I have been working as a freelance art director for MH Studio, the internal design studio of Moët Hennessy, based in Paris, France. My role has consisted in helping maisons within the Moët Hennessy umbrella to find visual identities for campaigns on social and offline, but also refine the brand guidelines and overall brand identities for several maisons inculding: Chandon, Cloudy Bay, WhistlePig, Volcan, or Château Galoupet.

VOYOUS: DES HISTOIRES QUI FINISSENT BIEN, 2020

  • Marketing and art direction

The show (4 episodes, 44 min) directed by Johnathan Gallaud and Alexandre Danchin focuses on former criminals that - for most - have turned their lives around and are now prime parts of society.I worked on the art direction for both the show and its marketing. For the poster, my inspiration came from visually striking shows like Fargo and True Detective as double exposure and color coordination were the main elements of this poster. In the weeks leading up to release, as Covid-19 was still putting most countries on hold, we decided to go for a semi interactive approach. I designed a bank armored truck following the same art direction, replacing the infamous Brinks Logo with the VOYOUS show logo, stylized to resemble that of the armored transport company. The truck drove around Paris for a whole week and gave away chocolate coins in small bank bags, VICE TV balaclavas and a tee-shirt that I designed myself too.

LSA Launch Party, 2019

In 2019, as publishing giant Burda Europe wanted to cater to its main Asian audience in Europe, it launched Lifestyle Asia Paris. The digital giant from South-East Asia hired me as a Senior Writer, but as the team was small, we needed to be able to do most things in house. On top of my day to day job as a writer in the field of luxury, I also served as an art director and content creator for the platform. I designed every asset that was used and worked with an event production company and the Lutetia Hotel in Paris to make sure that every aspect of our production would be up for standard of this publication.

From the background on the main stage, to the sound ambiance and scheduling, to lighting and overall ambiance, I was in charge of bringing this event to life.

ZINE (Portfiolio V1, 2018)

In 2018, as I wanted to expand my design portfolio, I made a magazine called ZINE.

It has the appearance of a magazine with fake advertising and 48 pages of graphic design / photography 100% deigned by Tawfik Akachar. Available via request.
